Most of us are now in summer mode, which can be a tough and wonderful time with your teens. Today, I highlighted a few great posts that discuss how we can stay connected with our teens while helping them build resilience. Nothing, and I mean nothing, builds teens' self-confidence like knowing they can take life on and handle basic tasks. My advice: LET THEM! Let them try, let them fail, let them learn how to pick up the pieces again. It is the best gift you can give them.
