Dear Teen: Sometimes You Don’t Find Your People in High School

In this issue:

Hi Reader,

High school can be a tough and lonely place. High school is like learning to ride your bike with training wheels. Your parents, teachers, coaches, and advisors oversee your behavior. They tell you where to be and when–and quite often, you are forced to be around certain groups you wouldn’t usually seek out.

After high school, kids get to start over with new freedoms and have more choices about who they can spend time with and what they do. Many kids don't have the life perspective to understand this, so it's our job to talk to them about this reality.

This is one of our most popular posts of all time, and with good reason. It's a lesson that many of us need to learn as well.

Portable Car Jumper/Battery

New driver? We've used this little guy more times than we can count. It is so much easier to use than regular jumper cables because you don't need a second vehicle, and can also act as a charger for electronics (like if your car and phone dies at once, which happened to us!)

A little encouragement from us to you.
